what would you change

What would you change for next year ? Why?

I will not hunt out of climber. I was climbing a tree and the stand goes sliding down the tree luckly I had my safety belt on .

I will put up some more lock on stand. because it easier to get set up.

Well im on a new piece this yr and just now have learned the lay of the land and travel routes etc. Next yr I will capatalize on this.... I cant wait till the off season to do some deep woods scouting and really find out whats going on. ive seen some nice bucks on this land so far and even got a shot on one. im gonna try and purchase a few more hanging stands and set these up in the well traveled routes and use climber to jump in spots that I get the sudden urge or feeling about. other than that im gonna enjoy the rest of the yr.

I'm going to make my wife work more and bring in more money so that I can take more time off to hunt.

I'm going entirely to primitive gear and switching from shooting right handed to lefty.

I hope to pick up 3-4 more lock on stands. One can never have enough. I also like fieldmouses idea.:D

Have you shot lefty in the past Arthur?

RE: what would you change

No, adams, I never have shot lefty before. Problem is, my left shoulder has gotten so bad (arthritis and bone spurs) I either have to switch hands or quit shooting. I've been working on southpaw form for about a week now and I'm already doing pretty well with it.

No doubt that I'll find a new place to hunt and get a bug up my a$$ to hunt. I never got that itch this year, mainly because of too many other people on the hunk of land. I could say I'm changing bows, but I do that every year anyway.

I am going to quit hunting all together...I am simply tired of all the nights staying up in bed dreaming of those mighty bucks. I'm tired of the money spent, the trespassers, the goose hunters, the neighboring hunters, the tree stand thieves, the snowmobilers, the loose k9s, the MONEY SPENT![:@][:@]:D[:@]:D:)[:@]:D[:'(]:D:)[&:][&:][&:][&:][&:]

Spend more time pre season trying to find private property so that next year I'm posting pics of the big one (instead of just reading about them) HA HA

How did that happen? I did it once but it was wet, a poplar, not enough pitch and I had on street shoes. Other then that my loggy is awesome. I wouldn't hunt with anything else. I feel very safe in it and climb to feet 30+ pretty much every hunt. I even climbed back up the same tree 1 minute after the slide with the stand crushed. I adjusted it at a higher pitch.

David just place your mortgage in the bills with everything else. Sooner or later a check will get cut.
