I agree with all-patience is probably # 1. It has taught me how to relax and learn more about wildlife in general.

Like alot of people I think patience would be on top. I have also learned that you don't have to kill anything for the hunt to be a success.

It's taught me how much I have missed being out it the woods among other things, and a ton about the deer situation in general.

I've learned that it's a bad idea to think about bowhunting when you have finals to study for during 1st year of college. And I am living proof that even if you learn patience in the woods, it doesn't always carry over to the rest of your life.
