Ground Blinds?

I am thinking og buying a new ground blind for next year. I was wondering what you guys use, that use them. What brands names, how big....... and what pros and cons there are to them. And if you hunt out of them, have you ever left it out on your hunting land over night? I hunt on private property, and no one is allowed out there but me, and since it is surrounded by a river on 3 sides you would have to go right by the house to get out there, or cross the river. So I think it would be safe to leave it, but I wanted to know what you all do. Would like one big enough so I could take my boy with me when he gets a little older. Also would like some advice on makiing a ground blind out of branches and stuff that I find outt in the woods. If you make one, would you make it so you could shoot over what ever is in front of you, or do you stand up when its time to shoot? Any help would be great.

RE: Ground Blinds?

I use a Trophy House. It has the cammo shoot thru screen windows and unlike a lot of blinds will let you draw back comfortably even though I have to shoot sitting down of on one knee (no big deal though). I would love to find a blind large enough that I could draw back my recurve in it. There is another thread in here about this topic so you may want to refer to it. I have tried to make ground blinds out of sticks, pine branches etc. but I got busted trying to draw back. Hence the premanufactured variety.

i use the eastman carbon venture. it is very much the same as the double bull with the exception of the windows and price. It has worked absolutely perfect.
