Rob you've got a spot there that look's very similar to one of the spot's that I hunt ,and if it's as good as it look's ,we should be getting some pic's of your harvest real soon.

One more question....how high up are you. The pictures seem alot higher then some of the other pictures i've seen. Do u prefer a high elevation or are my eyes just playing tricks on me this late at night?

smokyghost, thanks but I really like it when the corn is up but several rows are cut around the perimeter. That's what happen the year I took my largest buck to date and saw 6 others including one that was larger than the one I had just arrowed.

IL-Cornfed, great looking spot as well. Is your stand located where deer like to cross that fence?

rybohunter, yeah go ahead and post them, I'd love to see them. Like IL-'s, I bet it's also great.

HighCountry_Bruteforce, I kinda think that way while I'm in the stand, it reminds me of the shots I see in Kansas rather than in PA.

nubo, the 3.5 year old buck I shot for the bowhunting contest was shot from a stand about 50 yards behind this stand looking over a different CRP field and borders two other cornfields. This stand hangs in a hedgerow which joins two woodlots and my other stand hangs just on the other side of this hedgerow, the deer either walk this field or the other and I can barely see it...the hedge is about 40 yards across and thick. The buck I shot came from the corn and entered the woods in the second pic and walk and was walking through the woods when I called him out...as read in the story then.

Aquakeeper, this stands platform is about 26 feet high. That's the way it worked out with the branches. My pull up rope is 25' long and barely works out for me. That's the stand high I prefer when possible. Again, it's 25 yards to the edge of the cornfield and the bucks and yotes I've shot from this stand have been 25 yards and under.

Wow, both those look like great spots. As I sit here I can just imagine a nice buck sneaking through both of those! Cool idea, I would like to see other hunters spots as well. And Rob, I do appreciate your "stare at for hours" comment. Sometimes seems like a home away from home but I love the tranquility I feel when sitting in my stand.

Texas Hunter, in the second photo, it's 280 yards across the field to the other point of the woods, same in the first picture, it's 275 across to the tip of the other woods.

Blodg, both photo's are from the same treestand, the first pic is a shot from the left and the second is to my right. Yeah, you stare at all this for hours and you begin to get a photo memory and all of a sudden things look out of place and it's a deer...LOL
