Funny Story
 

Not a gut buster but comical because I can see any one of us doing it. I sold my buddy a climber that got stolen from the woods behind his house. He ends up driving an hour away last night to a store to get another stand to hunt this weekend. So he drives his mustang with his wife and mother-in-law. Instead of a climber he decides to get a ladder stand. No big deal till he gets out to the car and looks at the car, looks at his wife/MIL. :) He's telling me this on the phone and I'm dying. Ends up he put his wife and MIL in the back seat with the stand up front poking into the back and drove an hour home like that.

Now I've rode in the back of his car and it's small, plus with the bottom of the ladder stand back there. Only a hunter would do something like that or understand. :D

I thought you were going to say he went out to the woods and set up the stand in the tree next to where his stand was hanging as my buddy did. We listened to him grumble and complain for 2 weeks about dirty thiefs stealing his stand, only to have him set up his new stand less than 30 yards from his old one which was still just sitting nice as could be in a tree.

I wonder how many stands were "stolen" and how many were just "misplaced"?????
