So far my season has been up and down.
I also hunt with blackpowder and I was able to shoot a spike with my trusty old time muzzleloader.
I have been seeing lots of deer but nothing has worked out yet.
I have missed 4 so far!
One was a pretty nice buck,probably 130-140
I am a meat hunter most of the time but one of the farms I hunt in NE Iowa has some real good bucks.
I'll be back at on Sunday!
That will be my last chance to hunt before shotgun season starts and the woods get invaded by the "orange army"
Then I'll have 3 more Sundays to hunt and bow season will be over.
