Boy, that's a beautiful buck! I sure do like the dark hide not to mention the super nice rack. Alas, I have to give him two demerits though... I see he cheated on the drag out. ;):D

There was No cheating on the drag out of the woods cause I had to help drag him out[8D], he didnt drop there in the field we drug him there.
We park 3/4 of a mile from the field where we were hunting. We drug him out of the woodline and into a large cut corn field and it had rained all night and didnt dare try to drive the field to get him. We had the deer cart locked up in the back of the truck and my husband forgot to bring the keys and we were far from home, so I sent him to my friend to get bolt cutters to cut the lock holding the deer cart and he returned with my friend and his Polaris.... even better.:D We just we extremely blessed to have such a good friend offer to help out.

Congrats to your husband. It looks like he put a good shot on the deer. I'm surprised it took so long to expire. Good job.

Actually looks are decieving............. The shot looks to be a good double lung shot but that is incorrect...... the arrow hit the buck good but did a turn inside the buck and exited the side of the belly near the back thigh.
Dont know what the arrow hit inside to alter its path but we found the broadhead was bent and a bit mangled. The buck was standing under 20 yards broadside not quartering.
When field dressing we found the arrow had hit the liver and intestines, so that would explain why he didnt expire quicker.

Very nice arrow placement.
That's what it's all about.
Congrats!
