Eider,
how far out have you practiced with your pendulum at an elevated posistion [if you have] and what was the height you were shooting at and the poundage of your bow? just curious, thanks

RE: pendulum sight

Shootemup, The longest shot I can take from any of stands is about 25 yards. I have never shot a deer farther than 20 however. I shoot a 60lb draw with a 26 inch draw length with ACC 128's and spitfire mechanicals. I don't know my arrow speed off hand but I have never had a problem with my broadheads or sight. This set up has worked absolutly fantastic for me. I believe it has made me a much more accurate shooter. My tree stands are anywhere from 12 to 18 feet high. I know with in close shots the pendulum works great. I've shot deer from the 18 foot high stand as close as 8 yards. That's a preety steep angle. I can't tell you about usung the pendulim at 35 yards because I've never tried it, I wouldn't be comfortable taken shots that long at a deer, nor is it possible in most the places I hunt here in Maine, it's pretty thick where I set up. Hope this helps.
