My buddy scored on this buck Sunday Nov.7th on public land. What do you think he will score...

Actually we always field dress in most cases but this buck ran out into the middle of a field and we just picked him up and laid him on the back of the truck. No tracking or dragging was involved. This is the biggest buck either one of us have taken and we were both really excited to say the least.

I would say he would gross in the mid 150's, counting all the trash points. Awesome buck!!!

My guess is he will gross 150's. Lots of tine length there, love how the main beems almost cross out front, will make an awesome mount. Nice deer boys.

i'd say he will net around 147in, great buck :)

G-1s roughly 4 inches each so 8
G-2's roughly 12-13 inches of bone in those splits gross each so 25
G-3's roughly 8 to 9 inches so 17
G-4 2.5 (rightside)
G-5 3 (rightside)
Cir roughly 16 or 17 per side so 33
inside spread 16

Also, I cant tell if that is a g-4 poking out on the end of the left main beam or if thats just his camo shirt coloring looking like a tip of a tine. If it is I would add another 2.5 inches or 3 to the gross score.

I will say in the 150's upper 150's that is. Great buck.. Judging from your handle are you both from south carolina? If so wow I didn't know the carolinas produced such deer. Congrats to you and your friend

Ok first let me come clean, this deer wasnt taken in SC. We took a weeks vacation and took off to Ohio. We hunted from the 6th til the 12th. We were really in the deer seeing nice bucks almost everyday. We both had spots picked out for this particuler days hunt and when we got there someone was in the place he was planning on hunting. He was discouraged but I told him to just come with me and he set up on the edge of the same filed I was hunting. Wouldnt you know it the lucky devil connects on this brute and hadnt even scouted the area! You should have seen him after he shot the buck, he was tore out the frame. He could barely talk. The shot was qaurtering to and he didnt get a full passthrough. The arrow penetrated about 7 or 8 inches but it did the job. He only ran about 45 yards and expired right in the middle of the field. Made it real easy for us. Her are a couple more pics.....

Yeah I say he'll gross 150 without any trouble at all... real good Tine length on the G2's and G3's... He might even get to 160...

Those other photos help, I see that was a g-4 now on the left main beam... so I would bump my gross score up to 154 or 155, great looking deer, congrats again...be interested to see what he ends up gross scoring before any deductions, including all his main frame differences in his Net Nt score.
