Before I lock this thread I just want to make it perfectly clear that shooting at the "ass" of a deer is NOT ethical nor is it an effective way of harvesting an animal with a bow. As hunters we owe it to the animal as well as the rest of our community to make every effort at taking animals in the cleanest and quickest way possible, no matter what the size. While some of these postings are not in direct violation of HNI rules, they are however in very bad taste and do not reflect positively on the rest of us or the sport in general.
