My boss takes this week and all next week off.. So I am alone here at work...

BORING...

Oh well... It is nice and relaxing though..

He gets mad, cuz I always shoot two NICE bucks before he even gets a look at one..lol

Yeh- you got that right! Being at work can suck! Here is why! On my way in this morning there is a small field that sits off to the right side of me as i was driving in. I looked and there was what i think was a nice 120-130 class eight pt, Just standing there looking around:D I saw that buck or one just like him a couple of days ago about two hundred yrds. From where i saw this one? I think it was the same buck.who knows?

Especially today, the temps out there are just right for good ruttin' behavior. Something my hunting buddies and I have yet to see. But I will off tomorrow.

It could be worst. I'm working from home this week trying to drum up more biz. I have time to hunt now this week but didn't plan very good to drive north. Oh well, I'll have to plan better.

Here is what I saw out my window at work last November 26th, around 9 a.m. These bucks were chasing a hot doe and she decided to take refuge right behind our building. This building is right next to a busy secondary highway and within a couple hundred yards of a large housing developement. These deer came from a parcel of park land about 1/2 mile to the east.

Small 8 point


Nice 10 point, about 130 class


Big 8 point, about 150 class

Yeah, but I am so excited, I go to get out there for the next 3 days, and by what I have been seeing the woods last weekend (13 deer on Sat afternoon, 5 small bucks) and in the fields this week. Tomorrow, Friday and Sat should be an AWESOME 3 days to be out... I can't hardly sit here... I can hear my Stand calling me now....:D

Yeah, I work so the bosses can hunt! Running their goods down the road while they sit in a stand. ( dont even want to think about it ) But every chance I get im in the woods and enjoying every bit of it..even if I dont see anything.

I know how you feel ,I've seen deer every morning this week on my way to work,I know the buck's are chasing them around since I watched a small 8 point chasing doe's this morning.I've been working 7:30am to 7:30 pm so not much chance at getting out .I'll be off Fri, Sat and Sun and mon morn so hopefully I'll get lot's of opportunity to get that illusive buck this weekend.
