Your opinion,what's thebest deer hunting innovation in last 20 years or so?
 

One of those things I think about while bored in my stand for hours on end. :D IMO, the mass produced climbing stand has to be the leader, with trail cams a close second. They give you a lot of confidence in the deer that are in your area. Gore tex and Thinsulate would probably be up there too. How about you guys? What do you think?

I am only 16 so I don't know much... about hunting!:D I do like those tree stands though. Cardeer, in your opinion, since you would probably be the only person on the forum that would know, what is the best hunting innovation in the last 75 years.;)

You know bows have come along way as well at least in the past 15 years anyway.

The climber may be a little older than that (not sure) but the climbing stand gets my vote.

Expandable broadheads
Carbon arrows

.....that oughta tick some people off....:D

Seriously, equipment is great....I love it...but I believe that Cardeer is correct. Deer management is the greatest thing to happen to the hunting community in the last 20 years. I am not specifically referring to managing a herd for trophy bucks but rather managing a herd for both increased hunting opportunities and the betterment of the herd itself.

Gee,75 years,How old do you think I am??????????? Well just for me I would say the treestand , then the new fast bows and mechanicals.
