FISHINFEVER

I have read this message board for a few years now and really enjoy the stories and pic's, So I thought I would share a pic of my bow kill today here in Ohio. The rut is really kicking in here, the past week I've had this buck and a few smaller bucks chaseing doe's and pushing and shoveing each other just out of range. I was in the stand early this afternoon at 1:00 PM I hit the grunt call 3 times and hit the rattle horns a few times and within minutes the first buck in was a small 6 point from the South of my stand, as I watched him come into range I heard a deer coming from behind me. I slowly turned and seen this buck coming full out at 60 yards, I drawed and was ready once he was 20 yards broadside where he slowed to a walk and was ready to kick the heck out of the 6 point, I hit the release and made a perfect double lung shot. He ran 30 yards in front of my stand and crashed. It happened so fast I didn't have time for buck fever. What a hunt !! Sorry the pic really doesn't do him justice.
