Very off topic, but need help
 

Things just dont get answered in the sporting dog forum, so I am asking for help.

I am forced to get rid of a 7 month old black lab female (thank god I found her a wonderful home). Well I paid $450 for her, and have spent a considerable amount of time training her for ducks/pheasants. What is a fair price I should be asking for her (money isnt really an issue to me, as I would have given her away in exchange for a good home) but the guy wants to compensate me fairly.

What would you ask for a dog like this with good breeding and bloodlines?

If this dog has papers and you have started her right, $450 reimbursement would be fair. Sounds like I would not expect less than $300 unless it was to a good friend.
