New Or Used???
 

I don't know if I've posted this before but here ot goes. I'm getting my first bow this spring and want to se it for hunting in the fall. Should I get a band new bow or can I get away with a used bow?

I just started bowhunting this past fall. I bought a used bow about this same time last year. I guess the main thing to look for is to make sure that it is a bow that can be setup properly for your draw length and draw weight. I had to take my bow into the proshop after I had bought it and have them do the adjustments to the draw length and draw weight. So far I havent had any problems with my bow. I guess what it comes down to is how much money your wanting to invest.

If you can get your hands on the bow and shoot it, then it might be worth checking out. I would take it to a shop too, and have them look it over to make sure it is ok. Good luck.

You can buy used cars. You can buy used homes. You can buy used boats. You can even get away with a used <font color=red>WIFE</font id=red>. Man, you've been thrifty enough thru all that. It's time for NEW. You deserve it. You're entitled. Go for it.

If you can afford it I would get a new bow. If not a used bow is fine, just make sure it will fit you and you can shoot it before you buy!
