Our woods has gone silent.....

RE: Our woods has gone silent.....
I have experienced the exact same thing for past two to three years. ALL of my best spots have went dry!!!![:@] I dont understand!! Every now and then I'll find a scrape or maybe a small rub, but thats it!! Last year I decided to walk the 330 acre lot I'm hunting and I did find and get a shot at a good buck. The entire season, that was the ONLY deer i saw. He showed up during the rut everyday then dissappeared. He never had another deer with him. Now I go back in the same area and find one good scrape, and a couple rubs. NO DEER!! I've hunted several times, and the only deer I've seen is a doe that a dog happened to chase by me. If you find an explanation or a solution please let my know cause I'm out of options!!

Sorry Dave, I think they must have crossed the street into my neighborhoods I hunt. They aren't lacking the deer but have been lacking the monsters. I'm still trying to figure out what happened to them.

Dave here in Ohio the exact same thing happened last year
couldnt figure it out for the life of me. I talked to the farmers and they said they were getting the same amount of damage. All my trails seemed to be empty. Found out this spring why. Right in the middle of our biggest thicket some JackXXX built a house. The deer are patterned all over the place now. We are hunting across the street and seeing better sign but I think until the deer get used to "The house in the middle of the woods" its going to be messed up. Its amazing what one house can do to a great hunting spot. The deer are still there they just are not using the same spots I have patterned for years now.
