I watched a definate shooter in a corn field with 4 does last night when drove by one of my spots. So I hunted the spot for the first time today. Saw 5 deer total. A young 4 pt walked by me early this morning. Also saw a big deer in the the field I was sitting on right after I got to my stand. Too dark to tell but looked big bodied. And I saw 3 does. The small buck I did see seemed to be looking for something. He never stopped to eat. He found my scent trail and followed it. Only he went the wrong direction. Instead of coming to me, he went away from me.

i was taking the round about way while working( to head past a public site where it hunt) and saw a heavy bodied 8 point chasing a does, across a field, then crossed the road 200 yrs infront of my truck, and into the wood (onto the public land!) this was about 11am, and a bit overcast. allll righty then!!!(in the Jim Carey voice)

Last Sunday I saw a basket rack 8 chasing a doe. They both ran about 10 yards past a buddy of mine. We were tracking his buck. But that was all I've seen since then.
