Whisker Bisquit
Been thinking about a bisquit. Just wanted to know what you hunters think.

RE: Whisker Bisquit
I've never tried and don't think I ever will. I like my trophy taker fall away!
I use a Trophy taker springy on my target bow. It really works well! |
RE: Whisker Bisquit
I love mine. I do not have to worry about my arrow falling off of my rest. Some say that it slows your arrow down. This maybe true, but IMO not enough to really make a difference.

RE: Whisker Bisquit
ORIGINAL: dough boy I love mine. |
RE: Whisker Bisquit
I heard they slow the arrow and tear at the fletchings, so i got a Trophy Taker.
|
RE: Whisker Bisquit
I have been thinking about trying the wisker bisquit myself. A friend has one and it seems nice not to worry about the arrow falling off. My 2 cents anyway.
|
RE: Whisker Bisquit
It just don't seem to me that the bisquit would be at all forgiving. You guys that shoot them have you noticed any of that. I would think any bow tourque would really show up!
|
RE: Whisker Bisquit
I tried a WB drop tine, w/cut out this year and I really like it! Alot! My tuning was easy this year and grouping much better! But the fletching takes a beating (slightly deform). AAE makes some new fletching (at Cabela's) recommended for the WB and when i refletch next year I want to try them.

RE: Whisker Bisquit
I haven't torn or had a single fletching show any noticable signs of wear whatsoever. I have several hundred shots with the AAE Plastifletch vanes, and so far they're holding up very well. That was one of my biggest fears going into this as well, but I was pleasantly suprised to see my assumptions were wrong. As for being unforgiving, I haven't noticed any problems. My arrows are grouping just as well as they ever have.

RE: Whisker Bisquit
I've used the w.b. for two years now and like it for hunting. I did have some problems with the rubber fletchings and switched back to feathers which I prefer anyway. Found that feathers are more forgiving going through the bisquit and not one has tore loose yet.

RE: Whisker Bisquit
Awesome rest! Great for hunting and target shooting too. I shot In a dart leaque with this rest and did really good. What I like is that you knock your arrow and dont have to worry about it until you have to retrieve it. Try it youll like it

RE: Whisker Bisquit
I have one and love it. The biscuits last forever and my feathers dont show any wear. i think if your bow is tuned correctly it wont tear feathers up. I got mine of ebay for like 15 bucks slightly used. id check ebay you might get a deal.
|
RE: Whisker Bisquit
I am with the others on here that love it. Because I don't think I would ever switch.
|
RE: Whisker Bisquit
i started using one this year.I like the way the arrrow rest in the bisket.I don't notice any slow down to my arrows at all. good luck.
|
RE: Whisker Bisquit
IMHO, it's a bargain at twice the price. Simple, reliable, and secure, and you gotta love the name:D
|
RE: Whisker Bisquit
Tuned well it is everything you could ever want from a hunting rest. Silent, easy, holds arrow, and is deadly accurate.
I have shot prong, drop away and WB. WB wins hands down in the woods. |
RE: Whisker Bisquit
Been bowhunting for over 23yrs. And without a doubt this is the best arrow rest i have ever used!
|
RE: Whisker Bisquit
I have had one 2yrs now and have taken 5 deer with it. Only thing I changed was the biscuit. I upgraded to the BK2 and love it. I have tried other rests but always put the biscuit back on. Love it love it love it.
|
RE: Whisker Bisquit
you'll only lose at tops 5 FPS...plus your arrow can't fall off, it increaes downrange penatration, and with teh B2 biscuit, your vane wear is almost non existant. Best hunting rest ever made

|
