new bow suggestions for less than $300?

I have $300 worth of gift certificates for Bass Pro shop. I would love to get a new bow, but MAN! they are expensive.

There are a couple of options for a PSE, Pearson, and one from Browning. I don't want to have to supplement the cards with any of my own money so I'm limited to something at $300 or less. Is it worth getting something now or should I continue to wait and horde my pennies for something more expensive?

My dream? A Parker Phoenix 32, but that 600 buck price tag is a lllooooonnnnngggg way off.

Will you be happy with a $300 dollar bow, or would you just think about how you wanted something more...

If you would be happy with a $300 dollar bow, I'd look at a good PSE. It looks like you should be able to get a Typhoon for around that price. And that would be a really nice bow.

If you think you'll always want something else, just get a good stand or some more camo. You'll be happy with $300 more hunting stuff either way if you are anything like me <grin>.

A PSE Firestorm Lite is only 100 dollars more. I've heard that's one fast bow. And I love the 30" axle to axle length too.

I'm considering saving up a little bit more and buying that one. Whaddya think?
