Started using Rocky Mountain's Gator XP this year. Have shot two deer so far with them (both were good shots), and neither one ran more than 50 yards. No "O" Rings and the blades come up from the bottom .

i have been shooting spitfires since i started hunting. i lost one buck and that was my shot placement. spitfires do DAMAGE!! it looks like you get them witha 12 G shot gun! if you have the KE stick with the spitfires i just got the new spitfires with the blade tip on them and i cant wait to use one on a deer:).

On Mechanicals I would say speed has a lot to do with how they work.I've had good luck with both 125gr.Rockets and Vortex.

Here is a pic of the exit wound on a big Deer killed at 30 yards with a Vortex Broadhead.

This is the exit of a 125 Spitfire from last years best buck. I also whacked a doe with a shockwave and both were dead within 40 yards. Neither arrow passed all the way through and exited the animal but both went through both sides. I'm sure the energy is absorbed when opening and slows the arrow to a stop. I got a bit of shoulder on the doe. Both wrecked my arrows. Both tasted very good.

Grim Reapors are what I use and love them. BIG hole on exit.

Oneshot 1: Was the Vortex the 3-blade?

Everbody has so many opinions, and everybody mentions a lot of different mechanicals, a lot of you guys like the spitfires, maybe I might try some 125gr Spitfires, or the Rocky Mtn Snypers, maybe the Grim Reapers, or all of them and see which I like best!
