Default Got a doe tonight

Well I'll be the first to admit - the past couple season have been rough for me. I've gone through a seemingly endless bought of "What just happened??" and missed 4 deer in the past 3 seasons, including a doe earlier this year. I was really starting to get down on myself and losing confidence in my ability to shoot. It wasn't pretty. However, tonight I had this nice little doe come in and give me a 12 yard, quartering away shot and I hit her perfectly. Entered at the back of her ribcage on her left side, exited just under her shoulder on the right. The 2 blade Magnus Stinger sure did a number on her - she didn't run more than 25-30 yards before falling over. I had her cleaned out and loaded into my truck by the time it was dark. Can't beat that. I feel 100 times better now, and my confidence is definitely back. Hopefully I get a shot at a nice buck with the rut coming up soon.

Here's the only picture I could get, I had to use the auto timer on my camera and set it on my backpack for a rest.

Nice job!!
When you can take a smart old doe it makes the dumb bucks seem that much easier.
