first kill of the season
wasn't even a deer. when i got home from hunting a possum got into the chicken coop. i tried to shoo him through the cattle fence in the yard after a good spanking, he did break the rules, but he got very upset. i guess i used the traditional method, broke a broom stick over his head. i'm positive i've done some preaching here, but turns out i'm a hypocrite -- no way am i eating it.
on another note, didn't see any deer until i was walking home. it was dark dark and i had a headlight on. scanning the hayfield i saw 2 beady eyes, wait, 4, no 6, no 8. could it be coyotes? i'm gonna check. at about 30 yds one got up from laying down, a big ol' doe. didn't see any horns on any of them. i started making some horse noises and they finally walked off. why couldn't they have just walked another 200 yds away from the house where i had been? darn things aren't cooperating. |

RE: first kill of the season
What you do is put it on the grill and cook it done and then put it in a tortilla. Everything tastes good as a taco!
