A stupid people season?
 

My brother was wondering where he was going to hunt this year. I asked him why he wasn't hunting on Zollners land. He said that one of the owners of this land decided he was going to bowhunt this year. No big deal right?

Well a couple of days later this f*&^ head comes to my brother wondering were he can get a string for his bow. To make a long story short. This guy goes out hunting one night. When the night was over without seeing any deer he decides maybe he should draw his bow back to make sure everything still works:( His bow blowes up on hin because he hasn't shot it in years and he expected to go out and kill a deer[:@] I hate stupid people!!

Haha. That is almost as bad as people who buy a new rifle for rifle season the night before opening day.

, please just tell me it blew his arms off, this would make it a good day for all b/h'ers, i can top that one though a guy walked into a shop i had stopped at the other day for a b/s session, guy 50+ comes in and says "i need some arrows" guy at proshop "what kind" customer " ah heck git me some of them camoflauged ones" proshop owner trying to be nice ask do you have an idea what you need? guy says " are you deaf? i just told you i wanted some of them camo arrows right there but i need some with feathers on it", proshop owner what is the draw weight on you bow, customer "look all i want is some arrows, i'm not interested in a new bow" i had to leave

When I read the title I got a little excited , I thought maybe they started a season on stupid people somewhere.

Always said when it is tourist season here in NH we should be able to shoot 'em!

Some people just dont care about hnting just TRYING to kill something, even if they are unsure of their abilities. People like that do suck because they arent being fair to the game they pursue. Also this applys to gun hunters and bow hunters who buy new guns bows ammo, broadheads the night before, how dumb can you get!!!!

Yep! it takes all kind's to figure they can just pick there bow out of the closet and wipe the 5 years of dust off of it and go hunting without checking it out first.DUM<DUM DEE,DEE, DUM,DUM.
What can I say. I guess now he should ask since this guy's going to be out of commision for a while.

you'd be surprised...was in dick's the day before our opener bow getting a new wrist strap and 2 kids come in both around 23ish... start looking at bows pick one for the price never tried it out for fit and ask if the pro can have it set up before the day is over they were planning to go hunting the next day ! I had to walk away to keep from saying something.... I did get some satisfaction when I heard the pro lecturing them about the ethics of trying to hunt with no practice with a new bow what soever :) I laughed silently when he told them he couldn't possibly have it set up for them for 2 days..... after they leave( bought the bow) the pro says thats the reason bowhunters get a bad rep.....he could of set the bow up right then and there too ! I gained some respect for the pro right then :)

About 8 years ago the group of guys I hunted with were all out in the woods when we hear a rifle report. One the radio we here "I just shot a buck", no joke, you just disturbed the whole woods! Anyway, he shot the buck in the jaw and it was just hanging there when it ran off. So after tracking this deer across the property and onto the neighbors property, maybe close to a mile distance, we lost his trail. It wasn't going to bleed out, it was going to starve and die the worst of deaths.

After questioning Elmer Fudd it turns out he didn't even shoot in his rifle that year. For the last two or three years his son took his gun to the range and dialed it in. No wonder he has problems like that. Since that event I will not enter the woods with that guy.
