How exactly do you work a snort-wheeze call with the little barrel on the side?

2 quick blows and 1 real long 1.I have seen it piss off several bucks in my day i keep 1 with me at all times.

what kind of call are you guys using?

I want to learn this call. I would prefer to master it without a call, but if I have to I can buy one.

IL BOW MAN, you don't have to buy a call, you can do it without a call, do it into one of your existing call's tubes or make one. The one on the market is by MADD calls, it's nothing more than a plastic funnel like tube attached to a grunt tube. Just pull the tube off your current call and do the snort wheeze...or do it without the tube, it's not hard.

On Realtree Roadtrips show I saw it work to success. After grunting and rattling didn't work, he snort wheezed and the buck spun and came in.....I've only heard it once in the woods and have never used it to call in deer. I may try it as a last resort tho. I'm betting it spooks more bucks than it'll bring in.

I have used this call on a number of occasions and find it really works great. The one I have is on a tube with an elastic ties and spun on each end. You hold it in the palm of your hands and put your lips to it and blow hard. Most realistic snort I have heard from any call . I mostly use it after I rattle,to resemble to bucks grunting and blowing while their fighting. Draws them back into bow range sometimes!!! LOL good luck and remember to wear that safety strarp.

Rob, was that just on the last episode you caught that??

I was hoping after they did it they would show the call or do it again say I could get a better feel for the sound.

Like you said rob....as a last resort...can't hurt anything!! That is what I was thinking. Last year I had a nice buck walk away from a doe in my area and I would almost bet he would have come back for that!

Not sure if it was you who asked me what snort wheeze call I used ,well it's made by wood wise, and came out about 6 years ago
