Who uses Golden Key's Huntmaster 2000 rest?

I'm looking for a replacement for my simple flipper rest.
I shoot fingers with carbons, and when I changed my fletchings from 4" to 5" helicals there isn't enough clearence because of the small shaft diameter. (don't go there, OK?)

The Huntmaster 2000, which I saw on a friend's bow, looks like it will clear better, but I want to pick your brains before I buy.

Thanks much.

I shot one for years and never had a problem with it. In fact, I killed my biggest buck to date with it. It's not a bad rest, and definitely a step up from the old flipper-style rest.

If I'm not mistaken I think I have a brand new Huntmaster 2000 at home that's never even been put on a bow before. I'll sell it to ya cheap. :D

Thanks
You'll have to sell it to me REALLY cheap.
AmanitaVerna said so.
She thinks I'm a nice guy.

Hey I saw that!

I actually have a brand new spare Huntmaster laying around here somewhere too.

'Course it's left-handed. ;)

Darned pirates are always lurking around!

...and by the way, I may be lying around, but I'm not left handed and I resent being called a "spare".
...well, maybe not.

I am omnipresent.....

'Huntmaster' eh? I thought these titles needed to be earned? While you may claim mastery of certain things.. I need tangible evidence. So there. ;)

BTW, I never get complete clearance on the Huntmaster with 5" feathers. 4" clear fine.. but I like that extra inch. (ah.. the innuendos.... must behave....) I get better groups with the 5" and the 125gr broadheads. (not like my groups are anything to get excited about)

I didn't claim to be the "Killing-master", just "Huntmaster".
That's totally different.

I can sit there all day just as good as anybody else. hee hee;)

As far as clearence goes, what diameter shaft are you using. (heh heh, I said "shaft")
Maybe you should make use of a larger one... for better clearence.
Get out of the gutter....there is no room for both of us down here.

I'm currently using 2018's.

I know there are bigger shafts out there but I've never tried them. (snicker)

The last time I checked out Easton's really confusing arrow chart, that was the size I came up with.

55lb bow. Round wheels. Fingers. 12 year old string made of unknown materials.
