Had 4 bucks within 18 yards!!!!
 

They were beauties. Two were absolute horses body wize with very nice 8 point and 10 point racks. Just fat healthy muscle bound horses. NOPE... I didn't shoot them.

The short version, they're still standing in my back yard eating birdseed. Why is that? Why won't something like that wander through one of my shooting lanes. These are more or less pets. They live in a little swamp not too far from my neighborhood. I know ya'll know I feed them in the winter. I guess they're telling me it's time to start putting out some apples and corn. I did throw a bag of apples out the other night. They gobbled them up of course. I'd take a picture except I'm leaving for NY in the AM and my camera is already packed away in the car outside for the trip. Bummer.

Mdbowhunter. If you remember where my bird bath is, that's where they are right now. I'll try and shoo one of them toward you next week. I doubt they'll cooperate and leave heaven to make a 8 mile trip to our woods. I'm sure at least one of them is probably one of these that I took pictures of last year. Sorry about the quality of the picture but I took it with no flash and only the patio light for light.

Geeze David ,that look's like my mother in laws back yard .Great pic maybe you can shoo them all the way to Creemore ,I'd sure be greatful LOL.

nice pics and bucks, i can relate, my wife has a bunch of pets also, but i figure she'll go shopping on day;)

Nice.......very nice.

I think its cool to see that deer will wander through your yard almost knowing they are safe in that area..... makes ya think a little huh.

Just goes to show - never underestimate just where you may see and or intercept a deer in farm country......

:) That's self control if I've ever hear of such a thing. I think my neighbors would be calling me to see what all those "thuds" were if they were in my yard.

What a JERK! Glad to hear you don't take advantage like that. Doing that just aint huntin', man! Guys that do that just aint hunters either.
