Close but not enough!!
 

Was out bowhunting this weekend and had alot of fun. I saw alot of deer and turkeys. I had three small bucks within 15 yards of my stand, all at different times, but I let them go. Just before I packed up on saturday, I saw about 5-6 bucks in a group. 4 shooters and 1 of them was a monster 10 pointer. He was one of the biggest I've seen in my life. The closest any of those deer came was 50 yards. It's pretty thick in there and even though I don't miss out to 30 yards, they almost have to be 20 or less for me to get a shot. It was fun seeing big deer like that and I cant wait to get out and try my shot at him again. Just thought I'd give some fellow bowhunters something to read.

if you stick with it it'll happen, when the ladies start acting right the men start acting like fools, good luck man, i'd like to see a pic of you and the big boy;)

Sounds like you had a great weekend!!

It is only going to get better so hang on to your hat!!! Maybe that monster will walk by a little closer next time. Good luck!
