Back from my 4 Day Hunt in PA

Well I would say I had a pretty successfully weekend even though I didn't get to arrow anything. I got a lot of good hunting hours in in PA this past weekend. Friday evening I had a 170-190 class 8pt with in about 40-45 yards but he beded down in the soy beans. Saturday I saw 30 deer at about 4:30 until dark in the fields feeding but they never got close enough for a shot. But all in all I had a great time being out side and enjoying my hunt. I play to go buck later in archery season about when the rut starts, hopefully then I will get a shot.

SOunds like you had a good time, but 170" to 190" 8 point is pretty much as rare as a 210" typical. If he is really that big, I'd be back there tomorrow.

Put it this way, this deer netted only 161 3/8"

I would be there if I could...but I have to work. Im looking at going back around Halloween time...
