I'm probably thinking the same thing of 2.5 yrs but a broadside picture would be better. Ya need to get a good view of his chest into his neck to really field judge him. Not bad at all tho.

The second picture isn't of the same buck is it? If it is then he gained a lot of mass in a short amount of time.

I can't tell if the second pic is in velvet. Either way, I don't think they are the same deer either. The bottom one has more mass, especially on the main beam. I would say 3.5. Either way I wish either of them (if it is two deer) would walk by my stand. The only bucks i have pictures of this year are two goofy looking 3pt'ers [:@]

I agree that this deer is probably about 3.5 years ,because of the long jaw .he's a great looking buck anyway you look at him.

First one is 2.5 look hoe his neck is not thick throughout. If he were mature his neck would fill right in line with his spine. He would not have that small bump. Thats my 2 cents!

By the looks of the two pics, they're not the same deer. The first I would say 2.5 and the second pic I'd say 3.5. The second deer has much more mass than the first. Either way, good luck with both of them.

I think he's older then 2. Probable 3.5 years old but if you can get him to open up and show his pearly whites I'll tell you for sure;)

i am not sure about the deer in your area, but if that was a deer in my neck of the woods i would guess 3.5. if he is 2.5...he has great genetics. since i have only taken 1 small buck with my bow...it would be hard for me to pass.

I beleive their both pics of the same deer the second is just in velvet
makes him look like he has more mass.

I agree, I think that deer is 3 1/2 b/c he has a little sway in his back and satarting a little belly. Just my opinion, but if I were guessing that's is what I would say. He definately isn't through growing, by no means. Give him a year or two and he will be a daddy.
