Decoy
I'm sure this has probably been discussed before, but has anybody tried a Montana or Renzo's type decoy with any success?
I guess I'm more intriqued by how deer would interact with it, than actually using it to "attract deer".

RE: Decoy
I have no experience with them but remember a post a while back where a buck thrashed a 3-d target in someone fron yard. He was walking by the charged and dropped the target.
I think the biggest thing with decoys is to make them look a real as possible. a piece of white cloth on the rearend that you can make flicker like a tail will help to convince the deer that the decoy is real.

RE: Decoy
The times deer came in to my flat decoy they seamed to be on edge at close range to the decoy . Last year I shot 2 does less than 20' from the decoy .
