I don't think the first one is anywhere near 200" but it is a nice one just the same. He is not nocturnal either because there is light in the sky in the photo and he obviously walked from somewhere to get to the cam, so maybe you have a chance early or late in the day. Good luck on him!

Cool Pics, nice looking bucks. Not to take away from the quality of the bucks or pics, but I think you are mistaken about the size of them. I don't think any of them would score over 135". Now, that said, I'd take any of them at a drop of a hat. Thanks for sharing.

Those are some great bucks. I wish I was getting some of those on my trail camera. The woods seems to have gone dead lately. I think they are all in the neighbors corn.[:@]

liv-you must have misread my post. I said we haven't got the 200" buck on film yet. Everyone within 3 miles knows about him, and they're really putting pressure on him. i wish i could find the pic of him last year. Probbaly 25" wide with a 7-9" drop tine.

James-really wanted to get the pics of the bigger guys on here, but i had problems scanning. hopefully i will get them up later.

Thundergut- i know for sure the deer with the screwed up rack wont go over 135, but every other one of those bucks will go over 135 easy. the first one is a 12 point. i took it into photoshop, and found another pic of him from a different set of film, blew both pictures up, and was able to accurately gauge the height and mass of him. he's a main frame 5X5 with a sticker on each G-2. my cousin shot a buck with the EXACT same genetic last year, and he scored 168. this one doesnt have quite the mass, but my guess is 155. for that wide 10 point, probably 145, maybe 150 if the height is good. and teh last one i also took into photoshop with a couple different angles from other pics, and he will go around 155. wish i got some once he shed velvet.

no problem, no problem. Theres a few guys been talking big around the area saying they'll shoot it out of season. i really hope such a great buck doesnt have to meet his maker that way. so many bucks are poached in iowa so some big shot attorney have a nice rack in his office.
