Whit Lightning scent killer.
I will start off by saying I am very scent consious. I might get winded once a year but not very often. Well this weekend I was busted twice on two different stands.
I have a bottle of white lightning scent killer. I sprayed before I walked into stand. Sprayed once in the stand. About 1/2 hour after I sprayed an old doe came in quatering my down wind. She blew at me at 30 yrds. same thing that next day. I was wondering if its just me or has anyone else noticed this. I think I'll switch back to carbon blast. |
RE: Whit Lightning scent killer.
I've been using White Lightning this year and haven't been openly winded that I am aware of yet. Of course that doesn't mean that deer aren't winding me and simply sneaking off through the woods undetected.

RE: Whit Lightning scent killer.
A hunting buddy of mine started using it this year after carbon blast turned his stuff black last year. He used it once and threw it out. He said it gave off an odor that was repulsive to him and wondered what the deer must be smelling. I haven't used it nor was I with him when he did- Just passing on second hand info.

RE: Whit Lightning scent killer.
I used White Lightning Friday night. Had 8 deer feeding 20 yards from my stand and ended up taking a nice doe. None of the deer winded me. I do agree, though, White Lightning does has a little odor to it.
