know any good midwestern outfitters?
 

i am from ontario canada, and to say the least its not really a trophy deer haven like say iowa or illinois. I want a chance to bag a trophy of a life time, i was just woundering if you guys know any good outfitters with resonable prices.

I can recommend
www.huntingunlimitedinc.com they are a Bowhunting for Whitetailed Deer only Outfitter.
This will be my 4th year in a row of bowhunting with them
and Heartland Outfitters NOT to be mistaken with Harpoles Heartland Outfitter.
There a several excellent outfitters in the Brown, Pike And Adam's counties area's in West Central Illinois... ask for references.... some also have promotional video's that they can supply you with of the their hunts, land and operations.

A friend of mine has had good success with Monster Whitetail Hunt Club in Pike & Adams counties Illinois.
Mostly bowhunting only. You use your own portable stands I think. Rates are around $850/wk plus $20/day lodging. Last year non-resident license was around $300.

I would take a look at Hadley Creek Outfitters in Pike County Ill. They are an amazing outfitter that has unbelievable results every year. Look at the trophies pages. Where other outfitters have 20 - 30 trophies a year, this place consistantly has over a hundred. Just google search for Hadley Creek Outfitters. I plan on going there in 2006.
