the colder the better deer move alot more when its colder out I live in Saskatchewan,Canada and during our rifle season were are lucky if its any warmer than 25 below zero c not f but the deer are moving alot more during the cold weather than warm weather the bow season ranges anywhere from plus 20 to minus 5 we can also hunt bow all the way through rifle season but its way to bloody cold to sit anywhere.

First of all congrats to you and your wife on your new bundle of joy. Second, morning hunts are great when you have a newborn (trust me I know) and the first really cool mornings even makes it better.

I have been waiting for the temps to start dropping so the deer start moving. It's been slow here with the warm September and the deer move to feed and keep warm when the temps get below freezing so now it is the time to get serious and get in the woods!!!
