For years I've only been able to hear stories from my uncle telling about the monsters that inhabit a remote section of game lands that very few people hunt here in Pennsylvania. Motorized vehicles are forbidden and the only way in is a 4-5 mile hike or bicycle ride across the top of a mountain. The game commission regularly plants fields for the turkey and deer in the area and animals have many, many thickets to disappear in. The result is a deer herd that has been largely unmolested in recent years and many animals, though rarely seen, that would make the P&Y record books - a rare thing in PA in itself.
I finally attacked my kids bike cart that I've been eyeing up for two years and stripped it down to what's in this picture. It holds the Viper like it was made for it and should do well with a deer on top too! If you've got a kiddie cart and a remote location in mind this may be the ticket:

Thats pretty cool, I have seen guys use the yellow ones that you hook to a mountain bike to haul your kids around ,guys take and cut the plastic up, paint it camo and ride their bikes back in logging roads with stand attached and a deer in it and stand strapped to the top of deer when they come out. Slick idea. Is that the type that hooks to a bike or the type you see joggers pushing down the road?

mrfritz44,
That is exactly what I need! Here in SC, I hunt public land that sounds alot like yours. All the hunting pressure is close the roads but get back in about a half mile and you don't see anyone. Some of the roads go back over 5 miles and there is excellent sign back in there. I have been riding my bike but haven't come up with a good way to haul my stand or gear. Can you get me the make of that cart? I also hunt out of a Summit Viper so that would be great. Thanks

I'm sure almost any kiddie trailer would work with the right screwdriver

Here it is at Wal-Mart
I bet if you check your local Walmart you could get a deal right now due to it being semi-seasonal and may be on clearance for the winter.

Pretty steep to haul a deer, but maybe on ebay you could find a used one.

wow!!! I want one of those. I have an area near me that is over 20,000 acres with no motorized vehicles permitted, but there are roads that you can ride bike on (although, i'm the only person i've ever seen out there w/ a bike). I've been looking for something like this. I have a trailor like that too. hehe! my kids are still using it and that dang thing cost almost $500 (my wife won it in a raffle though). It'd be tough to butcher it. That gets me thinking, maybe i can find one at a garage sale.
Excellent idea. That would be so slick where i hunt.
