On the acetone note, remember that fingernail polish remover has acetone but many also have "essential oils" or aloe in it. Perfumes, oils, aloe, and other additives will make the surface hard to glue to. Not saying you are using that stuff, just throwing it out. Im new to fletching, but I did get em to stick after cleaning with a no additive cleaner.
