Baking soda on your bow question...
Last night I put some baking soda in my bow case on some foam that's in there and I never once thought about if it will do any harm to the bow itself or any parts on it. slide, cables, cams all the way down the line. Does anyone have any experience with this?? My whole thought was the same of putting baking soda in your fridge. You got a smell it will take care of it. Same idea here...or so I think.
Thanks

I put my baking soda in a tied up sock in my bow case so the powder doesn't get all over the bow.
You should be able to blow off any residue on your bow if you think it will cause damage... personally I don't but I know that some do think it might.

I didn't have any problems doing it last year. In fact, when I took it in to the pro-shop before I bought my new bow, the guy said something about it. I told him what I had done, he said he see's alot of it.
