Fresh meat in the freezer!

Had a great hunt Friday (9/17) afternoon. Took a nice 115lb doe at 22yrds. Now I can concentrate on the big boys.

No pics. Forgot to take the digital camera. Nothing very special on the details. I had setup on the edge of a clear cut in a hardwood bottom. Acorns all over the place. The fire break around the cut actually gave the deer a little cover and I was able to get on a tree about 25 yrds off the break in the woods with some really nice shooting lanes. Nice clean pass- through shot, both lungs. She ran about 50 yrds into the clear cut, wobbled and dropped. It was the easiest tracking job I ever had, never lost sight of her.
