I have my early season spot picked out but a in the last 2 weeks a black bear keeps popping up on my game cam. I haven't seen a single deer, just coons squirels and this bear.

Do I need to find a new spot?

I'm no biologist but I did stay at a Holiday inn last night and I would say depending on how much you see the bear on the film and whether there is any deer sign in the general area of the stand might determine whether or not to move it. In short, bears do scare off deer if they are around leaving scent alot.

This might sound stupid, but shoot the bear if it's legal. I don't know about anyone else but I have always wanted to shoot a bear with a bow.

I don't think the bear is scaring off the deer. they're both wild animal living in the wild. If it were a brown bear that might be diffrent. I'd buy a bear tag and arrow him if he's bothering you that bad.
