Want to build arrows...Where to start?
Hello. I would like to start building my own arrows. I know that I will need a cut-off saw, a fletching jig, and glue, etc. What other equipment will I need? Also, can anyone recommend a place / places to buy supplies? Thanks for the info!

I buy most supplies from Keystone Country Store. Good People.
For a fletcher I recommend the Grayling. It is basicly a plastic "Bitz" at half the cost. It does a good job, just take you time and set it up right. Put a vane in and see how it mates up to the shaft dry before you start glueing. Everybody has their own preferences for fletching. I was using Duravanes until I started shooting a Biskit. It tears them up. I have also used Bohnning vanes with good luck.
Make sure you clean your shafts to get oils off before you start. I also place a dab of glue at the front and back of each vane. It really helps hold them on.
