Well I had everything figured out for my bow and finally got to shooting great broadhead groups, when I turn it to the Weather Channel last week. I saw a hurrican named Ivan. I thought that it would turn and go up the eastern coast, but I was wrong. It has broken through the islands south of Mississippi and they have the hurricane warning right on Mississippi. I live on the beach there. I can only take things with me when I leave that I will need. Well the problem is I don't think I can take my bow with me. I just may not have enough room in my car. And to top it all off, we get out of school the day before we get hit! How nice is that, they gave us 8 hours to pack up and get the heck out of here! Sorry for complaining but I'm just scared. If it hits, my house is gone. I worked on my bow all last year and sat out that season. I may have to sit this one out if I were to lose my bow. I will probably chain it up to a wall, duck tape it shut, and write my address all over it. I won't have to money to buy another one if I lose it. Please keep me in your prayers.

I'm sure you can fit it in Zak. If you have to hold it in your lap. I'll be praying that this one continues West before it fizzles out. Hopefully it'll pass you with incident.

No I won't lol. I just don't know if my house will make it through it. The news had the week forecast and it said Wed-Thur showers and some wind. Showers and wind my butt!

Sorry to hear the bad new's Zak,Thing's aren't off to a very good start this season,I'm sure your team will miss you .But I'm sure you can find a safe spot for your bow so that it doesn't get harmed .Good luck and I hope thing's work out for you.

Come on Zak, my money is on you to break the Ms State record. I'm only an hour or so north today of you. Do I need to come down and get your bow for safe keeping? Bows do ride fine when strapped to the top of the car.

Seriously though, I wish you luck. Mailing it to someone you trust sounds like a good plan. You can usually pick up a bow box at one of the local pro shops. I would get it done quickly though as the last I heard that bugger was movin' towards us rather quickly.

Ok Zac here is how you take care of your problem. The day you leave take your bow to UPS or Fed Ex and insure the package up to 1000 dollars and then send it to your self. They will deliver the bow after the hurricane passes and if it gets damaged in the hurricane you have enough insurance on it to get yourself a new bow. Problem Solved

First off take care of your family!! My family and i will pray for all that is in the path of this storm. Some things can be replaced and some cannot!-But sending your hunting gear to a freind is a great idea!;) Its more than just hunting gear? its your friend!!;)When this storm moves on hopefully[&:] every thing will be alright and things can get back to normal and you can get on with your hunting season. What a mess down here in Ms. Last night the hotel had a drive up a minute looking for a room. The phone rang every thirty seconds for the same thing. I cut my trip short and will hopefully be flying out this afternoon. I guess next week I'll be back to see what's left. Good luck Zak.
