Pretty cool pic from today's practice session.

My hunting partner and I were taking our last practice session before next weekend's opener and I thought I'd take a few pix. Just so happened to click at the right time and get a pretty cool shot of the arrow in mid flight. We tried to duplicate this shot and get more of them, but it just was't happening. :D

Pretty neat. Especially the camera angle... is your friend a ghost? Kinda looks like he would have been standing outside the confines of the deck when the pic was snapped. Now that's neat. :D:)[8D]

Come on the guy is just holding a bow up and there is fishing line coming down from the tree to hold the arrow in place. ;)

I don't know what I am talking about but that is a cool picture.

Cool pic.... but what's with the crater in your back yard?

You didn't let Todd back there with his tractor did you??

;)

Long story short - it used to be a pond, but then the Army Corps of Engineers said "Uh, you can't have that there. This is federally protected wetlands. Make it go away". So now it's just a big hole in the ground that I use to bury people who get out of line on the forums. :D

Alright guys....please be very careful of your wording on here as the Bowtech crowd is a little sensitive in these parts!;)

Neat picture by the way.

Next time try standing behind the target. You get a longer time frame.;)

Justin

Honestly am I the only one here that has picked up your form flaw or has evey one kept quite cause you are one of the Admin guys:).

Can I be so wrong but you have lowered your bow arm instead of bending at the waist;).

But all the same cool pic.

Honestly Aussie, I did not lower my bow arm...and I'm not sure how you even got that from the picture.:D

Ok, your friend's draw length is too long. Just kidding.;) Pretty neat picture, especially considering the short amount of time the arrow would have been in flight.

Looks lowered to me.

Bow hand should be level with the shoulder.
His hips and back are straight. You should form a "T" with your back and shoulders.
Keep that "T" and bend at the waist;)

Where I hunt we do ;) over in East Texas in amongst the pines:) in other parts of the state is is hard to find a Mesquite tree straight enough to put in a stand

I picked up on that last night when I was going through my pictures. I was like "Hmmm...that's not good. But I was shooting so well!"

Mike - what he's referring to is that when we're shooting we're both bending our arms downward toward the target, instead of keeping it perpendicular to our body and bending our waste downward.

FYI - I only TOOK the picture. That's dukemichaels shooting. ;)

EDIT - here's a shot of me shooting. You can really see the terrible form right there.

what kind of hoyta ya boys shooting.... awsome pic, and dont worry bout the form, the best wy to fix it is to see it in a pic:) awsome pic though

RE: Pretty cool pic from today's practice session.

Really your form is at its best for shooting off of a deck, that railing would interfere if you bent at the waist in my opinion!

Well, first of all, What kind of camera and film was that taken with?

There would be a stream of arrow behind it...

Unless your have a video camera that a takes a picture with MANY frames per second.. ITS A FAKE
