today is our opener. it was raining all morning and now its upper 80's and really humid. not exactly the ideal opening day conditions.

This morning was our opening day, partly cloudy, high 50's. Deer didn't start moving until around 8:00 AM. I saw 6 bucks and 1 doe. The bucks were all 1.5-2 years old, nothing to brag about. Still have to get my doe out of the way. By the way, I'm in New Jersey.

for tennessee opens sept 25th it will be hot and muggy might be lucky and catch a cold front coming thru.....skitters will bite you bad to......

Sept 15th here in SE Nebraska. Looks like mid to high 80's. I'll probably go out that evening, but definitely not wasting a vacation day on a day like that. [:'(]

Today was our opener. Only about 80 degrees, but the humidity was up too.[:'(] Sweated too much, too soon, and was busted. Oh well........it's just the first day!

Last satuday was , hot , rainy , and a nice 115 mph sw wind . Thank God I still have my roof , many close to me do not .

Hang in there down in Fla Jimmy. You guys are getting hammered. I haven't been able to get back to Fla. for vacation in three years, and we miss it.

Hopefully IVAN will miss you, or at least not hit you head on.
