What I found in the woods today...
 

I decided it was time to re-hang my treestand today, after much foot traffic in my current place. (2 legged, not fourlegged). It's funny how you can see them and they have no idea you are there, no wonder why they get eatin by mountain lions. Anyway, while looking for a tree as well as studying the ground for sign, I stumbled on a Jim Fletcher "Fletchunter" release. The strap itself was dirty but ok, the mechanical part was a bit rusty, so I sprayed some "Bullfrog" brand Rusthunter on it and it's good to go. Looks like I've got a back-up release for my pack.
Not a bad day in the woods, as if there ever is.

Send me a PM and I'll let you know how to reunite me with my long lost release. It fell out of my pocket last time I hunted there. Don't waste your time there BTW, nothing but squirrels.;)
