RE: Shoot up the does
thanks for all the reply's! it feels good to know that your not the only one who thinks a mature doe is a trophy! we have some really big bucks on our farm, and it's getting better by the year, we shoot several doe each year, and i think it's helping to bring the ratio up. Pa's season starts Oct 2nd, the first mature doe that walks up is getting it! even in the first few hours. we do have plenty of doe on our farm and some gorgous buck. i don't know what the percentage per sq. mile is but, our season was so windy in archery and rifle a lot of people just didn't hunt and i think that is some of the reason for the abundance of does and lil ones. thanks again for the confidence booster and good luck!!:)
