Motion Decoys?

Do any of you have any experience using the motion decoys? I've looked at the full body motion decoys and just the add on tail waggers. Could you please share any information or experiences with them. Thanks.

Illegal in PA but I have used non motioned decoys in the past...the experience is marginal to say the leasat...seems the deer stuck around it a bit but were very wary of the decoy....

yes the deer dont like to see another deer just standing there not moving at all looking off into space but i have found that the movable ones will buy you the time you need as they keep the deer more at ease. Its worth a shot

Rob,

Just curious, would they be illegal because of the electrical device rule?...or something else?

I must admit that I am intrigued by them but the ones I have seen do not seem realistic enough to fool a deer....at least the deer in my neck of the woods.

Frank, yes, the electronic device is what makes them illegal in PA, same goes for the MOJO duck decoys with the moving wings and feet etc....

The only place I believe moving decoys are allowed are for predator hunting......

The only exception might be the one you make move with human intervention.......anything electronic is a no no.....
