Bicycles, Binocs, and glasses

These three subjects realy aren't related in any way other than I had questions on all of them and didn't want to start 3 threads uncessarily.

1)I'm going to be riding my bicycle to my stand this year (courtesy of some new trails on our land). Does anyone have a idea on how I could carry my bow with me? I carry everything but the kitchen sink in a backpack so I don't think that's an option. I'm worried about it bouncing around too much.

2)Do you keep your binoc's around your neck while shooting? I've never tried it as I guess I thought it might interfere.. any thoughts? I can't shoot for a couple of week so not something I can try right now.

3)Shooting glasses - I remember reading about someone who lost their eye due to their string breaking during a shot and thinking that I would start wearing shooting glasses to prevent against such a thing. I don't wear glasses so it may be a bit hard to get used to, but I think work the protection (also help keep the glare down on sunny days). There area lot of choices - anyone have any recommendations or "dont' buys"???
Thanks.

I like the Idea of riding the bicycle. You can sure cover ground alot faster. I've seen a handle bar mount for bows, sorry but I'm not sure where to tell you to find one. I think that would be the way to go.

shadow ace is right. i just put a set on my bike over the weekend. my pack is made to carry a rifle or a bow. i've been using it to carry my bow when riding my bike for years. this year, i just decided to get some bar mounts to try.

The atv gun holders work great. Here is a picture of mine.

Do the gun holders hold the bow solid with all the bumps you'll be riding on?

I'll be using a bike this year for the first time also - so I'm curious how the holders work.

The finned holders like i have worked great. No problems at all. Bow did not budge.I rode over ten miles in one day no problems.I also made a trailer for the bike out of some 20 inch wheels and angle iron. Its just the ticket for getting your deer out. I will post a pic ot anyone is interested.

Thanks for the info - that looks like exactly what I was looking for and I"m glad to hear that it seems to keep the bow stable on the bumpiest of rides.
