I got a stealth cam from Wal Mart this past weekend for $59.99 with the camo box. Great price, and seems to be working well. Took 18 pic's over the weekend. Can't wait to develope them. ;)

ive tried the stealth cam but had nothing but problems with it, i went through three before i got one to work and it only took 5 or six rols of film and quit, so i took it back and got a refund. Then i bought a new Moultrie brand camera, camo on the front, it seems to work well but batteries dont last very long, it cost me 97.00. I also have a Trailtimer Photohunter, and have had it for5 years, and it finally had a small part go out last year and the company fixed it for 35.00. it works great for me and has taken over 200 rolls of film in the time ive owned it, it cost me 249.00 when i got it but just saw one in a catalog last week for 195.00,, cant remember where, but i think it was Nite Lite company. If you can afford it id reccommend the Trailtimer Photohunter, but if not the Moultrie seems to wrok fine too. Be prepared,, its very addicting to use them, and you wont be able to wait to get film daveloped and my wife HATES it cause i spend so much money on it. Im gonna get a digital when i can afford it.

I run 3 Deer Cam DC 200's pretty much all year long and they have worked perfect.
Battery life is around 3 months long on just 2 9 volts. Picture quality is excellent and with the built in lock it really helps deter theft.

Although I love my 1.3 stealth if I were to replace it I would likely build one. It appears to be cheaper and battery life is on a whole diffrent level then the comercial units. I'd pm T-PA to see about cost of building one.

I own two of the Stealth Cam MC2Gs and have had good experiences with them (once I figured out how to load the film correctly :)). I am sure there are cameras with more options out there for more money but the MC2G works fine for what I need it for....plus, at $60 I am not miserable if it gets stolen. ;)

I'm not in his price range. Just get a stealth if you are limited for $$.

I have had a stealth cam for over a year now and haven't had any problems with it except some pics of nothing. But I'm getting ready to build my own digital with a Sony P32. I hope to have it built within the next two weeks. Just waiting for the rest of the stuff get here and I'll get to work on it.
