I found a website that is useful for scouting. It has aerial photos and you can zoom in on your hunting spot. I printed off a couple copies of the woods that I hunt in to mark stand location, trails, rubs, etc. The website is http://terraserver.microsoft.com Hope some of you also find it useful.

two others I would suggest:

www.mapcard.com great mapping it combines arial photo with topos, shaded relief topos and you can super impose the roads on top of the photos


http://geomac.usgs.gov/# This gives you good 3d look at the country and is free. I is made to look at forest fire locations. I think it is a great tool and for free.

Good info. Have actually been using terraserver for some time. that along with weather.com (hourly wind predictions) is all you need to scout and then hunt.
