I was curious how far you guys practice out to. I generally practice out to 80 yards. It sure does make shooting 50 yards a chip shot.

with my 3d bow, i have practiced as far as 130 yards,
my hunting bot i have sighted in to 70 yards, and it foes make those 40 and 50 yarders seem easier

Man, I must be a real wimp!!! I practice out to 40-50 yards, with 50 being the extreme maximum. I really only have 20-30 yards to shoot deer where I hunt.

I go to the pistol range and shoot 25 yards.

I virtually never practice beyond 50yds but I do shoot 40-50 yards quite often.

I rarely shot over 40 yards. I don't see the need to go any further then that.

40 yards is my max. My Tru-Glo 3 pin sights are only 20,30,40 anyways. Even at 40 yards, I'm a little uneasy, but I can hit the target and the center bullseye most of the time. My favorite range is 25 yards where I look in between the 20 and 30 pins and WHAM, I'm there everytime! My best was 3/4" groups at 25 yards with 4 Easton XX75's. [8D]

I practice from 20 all the way out to 60 yards. Even though I would never shoot at an animal at 60 yards, it makes the closer shots seem that much easier.
